Why I’ve been gone//+ I hit 1k on instagram?!

If your one of my regular visitors you might have noticed that I haven’t posted for quite a while. Recently I have of been in a creativity block, I have been a bit unmotivated and it has been a little harder to come up with unique and interesting blog post ideas. You may have even noticed that some of my more recent posts have been a little jumbled and not as long as my other posts. It has been pretty refreshing to take a break from my blog, It has helped me focus on some of my priorities like studying more, but I have really missed blogging and sharing my thoughts with you guys. So I’m happy to say that I am back.

I am going to try to post twice a week; Tuesdays and Fridays, like I tried to do before. Tuesdays will have a more bookish theme and Fridays will have more of a lifestyle theme. And I will try to keep you guys updated by posting on my Instagram @elysianartiste.

Speaking of Instagram, I recently hit 1k+ followers which I am sooo thankful for. As a teen blogger, It can be easy to get discouraged and feel like your content is trashy, So it means so much that 1000+ people appreciate my content and enjoy it! I honestly never imagined I would get that far. I am really thankful that my parents entrusted me with Instagram because they aren’t really huge fans of social media, so I am so grateful that they allowed me to use it.

If you are allowed to use Instagram, I really recommend you follow my page @elysianartiste, I post daily, and I have fun quizzes and stuff on my story and its easier for me to engage with my followers.

If you arent allowed to use Instagram I totally feel you. It took many tries to get my parents to agree to let me use Instagram as another platform to express my creativity. If you really want Instagram, I recommend setting aside a time to talk to your parents when they are not busy or working on anything else. Explain why you want it, The benefits of having it, and ask what the boundaries are and If they do allow you to have it, respect the boundaries. Once they see you obeying the boundaries it allows them to trust you more and eventually they will give you more freedom.

So yeah, short story long that’s why I have been gone and not so active with my posting. I am really excited to get back into the blogging world. I have a bunch of great content that I cannot wait to share with all of you!

Welcome back to my itsy-bitsy corner of the web! I am so excited about this post because I have some exciting news!

So I have decided to suffer and endure in camp nanowrimo! Nanowrimo is short for National Novel Writing Month (which is in November!) Camp Nano is in spring and encourages you to write! It’s really fun because you can have a cabin with your friends and new friends and have fun writing!

My Book WIP

I haven’t really made a cover yet (OOF) But I am still making okayish progress.

Word Count: 3304 Word Goal: 50,000

Okay Maybe I am not making too much progress, but I really love how the story is progressing.

sooo what even is my story?

I really love this idea and I don’t really want anyone to steal it so I am going to kinda not tell too much but here are some sneak peeks about it

fiction and the real world are combined sorta

i am still deciding everything so i don’t have a lot of info lol

I started a podcast! Yes, I did! I have always dreamed of starting one but was a little nervous! But this month I decided to give it a try! Its called spilling the tea and it is filled with fun facts, blogging tips, Lifehacks, and inspiring stories!

My favorite thing about it is that it is interactive! Which means that YOU can be a part of it! You can share tips, fun facts, inspiring stories and ask and answer questions!

Welcome back to my itsy-bitsy corner of the web!-and if you’re new here thanks for stopping by!❤ Also sorry about the long title, I usually don’t do that but I got a little excited 😀 Also I am really sorry I haven’t posted in a while LIFE HAS BEEN BUSY!

So I didn’t really realize that Elysian Artiste has reached 212 followers! I MEAN WHAT?!?! It means so much! Blogging has been a great experience❤❤ Thank you all so much!

Now I have some other updates about a schedule- a blogging schedule! I really need to start planning when to post because I sometimes can get really distracted. really. So I have decided to post twice a week on Tuesdays and maybe Fridays or Saturdays.

Tuesdays will be more bookish or focusing on a book or book tag, recent reads or some bookish thing.📖

On Fridays(or any other free day I have during the week) I will make a DIY post, art post, A motivational, a lifestyle post interest inspired post, photography post, Hamilton post The possibilities are endless…

So I recently got back into my wreck this journal! It is really soothing, especially since I strive to make my art look perfect. I really recommend it if your someone who always wants to be perfect, it really loosens your creativity and is relaxing. Here are some pages I have finished.

some of them are a little messy but I had so much fun making them! I am hopefully going to make a WTJ post filled with tips and cool ideas!

i was on a movie set?!+nanowrimo

welcome back to my corner of the web! this week has been REALLY BUSY, from swimming lessons to band to BEING ON A MOVIE SET (and being in a movie set in the 70s that was really awesome!) The business was actually kinda worth it!

Yup you heard me right I AM IN A MOVIE-well more like a documentary BUT STILL THATS REALLY COOl! It was a lot of fun being in the showbiz with my siblings! My Poppie is apart of this alpha clan thing and PBS is making a documentary about it AND HE LET US BE A PART OF IT. So we all got to dress up in RETRO CLOTHES, which I already kind of do wear!

it was fun but a little bit scary

it’s already almost November and that means!? NANOWRIMO! YAY! I am pretty excited for nano and I AM PROBABLY GOIng TO OVER PLAN because last year I didn’t plan at all and everything went bad! Heh 😛

So right now I am planning out the storyline and the characters! I was thinking about writing a totally different book with a totally different genre but I decided to try something different! So here it is!

INTRODUCING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *drumroll please* *quality drum roll*

LOUDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I really don’t know if I will actually use this plot and book idea for nano I may write my other book Idea I AM NOT SURE YET!

So this is a very different book genre than I usually write in. I usually write dystopian, sci-fi stuff like that but I decided to make a realistic adventurous book. It’s actually kinda dystopian I guess I DONT KNOW XD I really get confused when writing books 😛

But anyways the main plot of the story is about a girl named Zinnia Raine who’s mute and yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah… I had a whole cool story idea but then I realized it made no sense so THAT’S WHY I AM GOING TO PLAN IN OCTOBER SO MY BOOK MAY HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF WORKING OUT! 😛 I really like how the cover turned out though!

September is coming to an end and there were so many amazing opportunities I had. Sure life was busy, but it was fun!

Welcome back to my itsy-bitsy corner of the web! I am really excited because today WordPress gave me a very special notification!

YES! I have been blogging for 5 YEARS! I never really took count of the years but that’s a preeeeeeeeeeeeety looooooooooooooooong tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime 😀
My first ever blog was created when I was only SEVEN YEARS OLd! May I remind you that I was only SEVEN YEARS OLD AND MADE THE BLOG ALL ON MY OWN!

Yeah, It was all about kids learning facts! Cool facts for cool kids XD It’s really cute looking back at it! This blog got quite popular among my family members. When I was younger I was so proud of myself for creating this blog now looking back it’s not as good as I thought XD

I also had a book review and writing blog, filled with misspellings and bad blog design 😛

Even from a young age I loved books and writing 😀

This was supposed to be my social magazine blog where other kids could post things! It didn’t quite work out well 😛

ANDDDDDDDDDDDD MY MOST RECENT OLDER BLOG…………………

My American girl doll blog! This is what shaped most of my blogging now! I made a lot of amazing friends and had a great time blogging!

And this is my blog now! I am so thankful for all the wonderful people and friends I have met and made through blogging! It is a wonderful experience I will treasure forever!

Elysian Artiste has just hit 190 followers! I want to thank all of you amazing people for allowing me to have the best blog experience in the world! It means so much to me that other people like and appreciate my work and care about me! ❤

Back when I first started KidFacta I never knew how much blogging would change my life. The friendships I have made, the fun I have had, the people like me I discovered. I might have never made it here if I hadn’t started KidFacta.

My advice to you is, whenever you feel a spark of creativity… CREATE! DOODLE! MAKE! Let that fire burn and you can create something completely amazing!
