The beach
The sand sunk into my toes,
Tickling my feet.
The bright sun shone on me,
The humid air against my nose,
I smile and breathe it in.
The calm and gentle wind hugs me,
The clouds slowly sway.

Water.
The water glistened as it ran down the stream,
It’s beauty astonishing, yet ordinary.
I slipped my hand into the stream.
It gushed past my hand, leaving ripples in the water.
