Heya! Welcome back to my tiny corner of the web! I haven’t been posting as much but don’t worry my friends, my blog is NOT dead! I shall be posting a lot more. I am going to be sharing some excerpts from my NaNoWriMo story and some poetry.

Wanting

want to know something,

I want to understand.

I want to take the darkness,

and make it bright again.

I want my every whisper,

to fill up every street.

I want to find the lost,

and help them find,

the unknown future,

they can’t see.

Seeking

When you’re looking for something,

searching with all your heart.

But it stays hidden away.

You can never find it.

Its lost,

forever gone.

It fades away from you,

into the misty air.

Into the deep blue sky.

The lead of my pencil lifts off the paper. Its raining, droplets falling from the sky and splashing onto the window, making everything blurry. I don’t want it to be blurry. I want to see. I want to see the unknown before it fades away…before it’s forever gone.

This is one of my favorite excerpts!

anyways…

Here is another excerpt from my book

What If

When I fall into a dream I often chase the stars. I do what I can not obtain in real life. I wish reality could be more fantastical. I ponder about the things that are impossible. What if I could soar like an eagle? What if I could paint the sky? What if I could hold every star and constellation until I die. What If my aspirations came true? What if every question I ask can be answered the way I want it too.

I have many goals in my life, but the one I want to accomplish the most is to find out who gave me that rock.

But…

There are so many buts. Something is always in the way, blocking me from succeeding. And worst of all, they are all lies. Lies I am telling myself.

I’m not good enough, I am weak, What if I fail?

Over and over again, each one taking over my brain and preventing me from doing what I love and enjoy. Preventing me from getting to the finish line.

What if I could get to that never-ending finish line…

What if?

Look at this stuff
Isn’t it neat?
Wouldn’t you think my collection’s complete?

Hey, welcome back to my corner of the web! Today’s blog post is going to be about me talking about how I feel and almost ranting, but not like an angry rant, just like me talking about something that I feel often, and I am hoping that maybe you can relate to it.

anyways

let us start this post.

Isn’t strange, no matter how much you have, you always long for more. Even if it was the best day in your life, there was still one thing that you didn’t do, such as listen to your favorite song or go to that cute antique shop you have been wanting to go to. Somehow that longing, makes you kind of forget about everything you did do, and you just focus on what you didn’t get to do.

its human nature

but that’s, not an excuse

We think that we deserve everything that we get, and if we don’t get it we feel as if we aren’t treated kindly. Like, let’s say your Mom says you can’t borrow any books from the library today, or your Dad won’t let you get the new app that came out. You feel as if they are being unfair. In your mind, you feel as if they owe you it. Now, sometimes this feeling can be subtle and you don’t really care that you can’t get a book from the library or download the app, but there is always something that taunts you, what if a  book that you wanted is on the shelves and you really want to take it home with you, but your mom says no. You probably will feel upset, and bitter. I can understand that. This all may not make sense and, that’s okay, I am just trying something new and I am just sharing my heart and how I feel and I am trying to inspire others to be grateful.

 things we don’t like happen

even though bad things happen, it’s up to you to make the right response.

but that’s hard

it is, but remember that there are so many other people that are going through the same thing. You are not alone.

🙂

So I don’t know if this made sense or anything, but maybe if you want we can discuss everything and talk about it. I really want to hear what you have to say and, yeah.

Even though it may seem as if you don’t have everything you want, remember you are blessed. And I think that we should start counting our blessings and stop taking things for granted, we have so much more then we think.

This is my favorite one! It’s so SMOL and beautiful!

Story Time; The Tale of an Older Sister

Story time one

Heyo and welcome back to my blog.

Most people think that being older means you’re in charge. But reality proves otherwise.

How do I know this? Becuase I’m am the oldest. And my siblings are always bossing me around. Especially my baby sister.

I’m going to share with how it’s like to be the oldest.

( if this is weird then I’m sorry. I was trying something new. So um yeah)

First of all little kids are cute and can get away with everything. Older kids come off to be moody. Becuase older kids don’t have the power of cuteness.

Little Kid: Mommy can I get a new toy? *gives you puppy dog eyes and smiles*

Mom: Awww of course sweetie.

Me: Mom can I please get a computer?

Mom: Not right now.

Me: But mom I need one!

Mom: We already got you an iPad mini. Plus we have tons of computers at home.

Me: I need my OWN SO I CAN BLOG IN PEACE WITHOUT MY SIBLINGS FORCING ME TO GET OFF!!!!!!

Mom: *does that mom frown that makes you want to melt*

Me: *feels kind of bad and embarrassed that I yelled in the middle of the store* You just don’t understand
Alright, another thing about being the oldest is that whenever you do something everyone else wants to do it too. ( Quick note, I will be calling my siblings A, E, and J)

Example

Me: Mommy can I use the computer?

Mom: Sure. Just make sure you don’t stay watch to many YouTube videos.

Me; Thanks! *starts to use computer*

J: Mommy how come Ava gets to use the computer?!

Mom: It’s J’s turn!

Me: * internally screams: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO*

J: *Comes over and smiles mischievously* Ava it’s my turn. Ava it’s my turn. * he keeps saying that over and over again*

Me: Wait I’m almost done saving my post!

J: *keeps repeating it*

2 minutes later my post I worked on for days is deleted.

That is a true story.  I’m crying right now. *takes a deep breath*

Even though being an older sister can be a little rough always remember that being an older sister is BOSS!

And if you’re not an older sister you are still Boss!

So yeah, I hope you guys enjoyed today’s post!

Did you enjoy this post? What’s your favorite thing and least favorite thing about being the oldest?

Writing Wednesdays: Characters

Writing.png

img_3664-2 and Welcome back to my blog!

I’m going to talk about how to make your story characters really come to life! Lets get started.

1. Talk to your characters;

Talking to your characters may sound weird, but it really works! I talk to my characters all the time. Its fun and helps inspire you!

2. Pretend to be your character:

Try to talk in your characters voice. Live as if you were a certain character. Ask your siblings or friends if you can role-play, you can even role-play by yourself. Develop your characters style.

3. Interview your character;

Ask your character questions. Or let someone else ask your character questions

4. Pay attention to the people around you;

Look around everyday at people near by. Sometimes I even look at strangers and see what they are doing, that helps me develop a character and a story.

5. Be creative!

Being creative is not hard. Creative is scribbling random words onto a piece of paper. Creative is you writing a small poem. Creative is you having fun and trying to write! Have fun and don’t worry about messing up. Their is no wrong way to write! Everyone  has their own style. Be yourself and have fun!
