welcome back to my isty-bitsy corner of the web! Here this week’s very delayed recent reads!
As you all may know I love the book, Jane Eyre. In fact, Jane Eyre is one of my favorite books. It is a powerful narrative featuring a bold heroine and mystery! I really recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a great book to read!
I have read the original Diary of Anne Frank and several graphic adaptations and this my favorite! The illustrations capture the story beautifully and I love the artist’s art style! I really loved this book and I recommend this book to everyone!
Okay, so I read the Giver a while back and thought it was pretty cool, now I reread it and realized I NEED ANSWERS WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!? I look it up and find out there’s a whole series and I realized that I NEED TO GET ALL THE BOOKS! So yeah, you guys may not be able to tell BUT I REALLY LOVED THIS BOOK! ITSSS SOOOO GOOOOD! I was surprised by its depth, considering its a juvenile book but like always Lois Lowry always seems to impress me!! ITS SO GOOD YOU NEED TO READ IT!

Don’t you ever just want to pull out your favorite book and go in it and meet all your FICTIONAL FAM AND CRUSHES!!!-oh its just me… Ah, okay! The last thing I have to show you all is something that I made for my book club. For my book club, we read Jane Eyre and made Jane Eyre inspired cereal boxes! It was a lot of fun! Here are some photos I have of my process!
What books have you read recently? Do you consider reading any of the books on my list?
welcome back to my itsy-bitsy corner of the web! Today I am posting the first post of my new weekly blog post series; RECENT READS. It basically is a post I post every Tuesday featuring some books I have recently read 😀
let’s get started!
I really loved this book and I recommend it for any girl boss that wants to learn how to be an activist! This handy guide has tons of awesome tips for any girl that wants to unleash GIRL POWER.
okay, let me just say this book was SOOOOOOOOO CUTE! Its a ww1 story told through the eyes of a bear and I believe it is a true story! And this bear who actually was a REAL BEAR was the inspiration of WINNIE THE POOH! I really recommend this book to anyone that loves sweet heartwarming stories! I didn’t think I would really like this book, BUT I DID AND ITS JUST SO SWEEEET and cute and just AAAAAAAAAAAAH.
I really liked this book! Its super cute and sweet! I love the plot and the artist’s drawing style! ITSSSS SOOOO CUTEEEE!
I was really excited when I discovered this book because pirate princesses are really cool, but the book was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay different than I anticipated and it kinda was a huge rollercoaster ride that was really confusing. I think it was an interesting plot, but written and twisted in the wrong way.
I really love this book! Jane Austen’s works always amazes me! I really can relate to the characters and I love her writing style. It’s sometimes hard to imagine that a totally different era from ours can still have some similarities, but Austen finds a way to get me thinking maybe the eras weren’t so different after all.
Some of you may know that I LOVE HAMILTON (the musical) And if you haven’t heard of it, it is truly amazing and you should check it out! So when I stumbled across this book at the library I thought maybe the book would be a nice read. I thought wrong. It’s not that this book was really that bad, I mean it is a biography, it just wasn’t filled with catchy songs and what I had hoped for. XD
I hope you enjoyed this post! Which books have you read recently?
welcome back to my corner of the web! this week has been REALLY BUSY, from swimming lessons to band to BEING ON A MOVIE SET (and being in a movie set in the 70s that was really awesome!) The business was actually kinda worth it!
Yup you heard me right I AM IN A MOVIE-well more like a documentary BUT STILL THATS REALLY COOl! It was a lot of fun being in the showbiz with my siblings! My Poppie is apart of this alpha clan thing and PBS is making a documentary about it AND HE LET US BE A PART OF IT. So we all got to dress up in RETRO CLOTHES, which I already kind of do wear!
me and my sister at the shoot^^
also I have a weird pick of me rock climbing
it was fun but a little bit scary
it’s already almost November and that means!? NANOWRIMO! YAY! I am pretty excited for nano and I AM PROBABLY GOIng TO OVER PLAN because last year I didn’t plan at all and everything went bad! Heh 😛
So right now I am planning out the storyline and the characters! I was thinking about writing a totally different book with a totally different genre but I decided to try something different! So here it is!
I really don’t know if I will actually use this plot and book idea for nano I may write my other book Idea I AM NOT SURE YET!
So this is a very different book genre than I usually write in. I usually write dystopian, sci-fi stuff like that but I decided to make a realistic adventurous book. It’s actually kinda dystopian I guess I DONT KNOW XD I really get confused when writing books 😛
But anyways the main plot of the story is about a girl named Zinnia Raine who’s mute and yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah… I had a whole cool story idea but then I realized it made no sense so THAT’S WHY I AM GOING TO PLAN IN OCTOBER SO MY BOOK MAY HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF WORKING OUT! 😛 I really like how the cover turned out though!
September is coming to an end and there were so many amazing opportunities I had. Sure life was busy, but it was fun!
Welcome to my itsy-bitsy corner of the web! A few days ago I started making collages for my favorite book characters and it was really fun! I wanted to share them with you all! They kinda are like aesthetic mood boards. Let’s get started!
Anne of Green Gables series has been a part of my life since I was very young! I loved Anne’s imaginative spirit! I love how this board turned out!
I made Ky and Cassia from the Matched series. I really recommend the series!
this is a board of Jane Eyre, from Jane Eyre!
and Last, winter and cress from THE LUNAR CHRONICLES! I love how all these boards came out!
Did you guys like the aesthetics? Which one was your favorite? what other characters should I do?
