Hi, guys! This past few week I have been testing out NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program. I wrote a short story. I hope you like it!

Here is some of my short story!

Chapter One: Land

Hello, I am Cassie. I am a lost girl, a crazy girl. Really it’s true.

I stare into blank space, the ship is mouse-quiet, except for the crackling sails and the bubbling sea.

“Cass?” A voice asks.

I look up and see my beloved- I mean my future husband. Well, he’s not really my future husband but our parents arranged a marriage for use years ago because we were best friends and our parents were best friends- ya get the point. So technically we are married. Did I mention we are both stranded on a lost island?

I stare at Zane and smile. “I’m fine…” I sigh.

He sighs back, “We are on land, I found a tree. Maybe we can climb it?” He asks leaning against the wall.

“Sure,” I nod. I stand up, my legs are shaking with pins and needles. I have been sitting for hours.

We leave the ship, I take my shoes off and let the grass tickle my bare feet. I smile and run to the tree, hugging it like an innocent child. I begin to climb. Higher. Higher.

And I smile.
